LIZARD FISH

 Appearance:

    - Size: Typically matures at an average length of 30 cm (12 in), with a maximum fork length of up to 60 cm (24 in).

    - Body Shape: It has a cigar-shaped and slightly compressed body. The head is pointed and depressed, with a broader snout.

    - Coloration: The dorsal side is generally brown with faint cross bands, while the ventral side is silver. The tips of the dorsal and pectoral fins are blackish.

Habitat: Inhabits muddy bottoms and trawling grounds across the Indo-West Pacific, including areas from the Red Sea to Southeast Asia and Australia.

Fishing Season: Varies by region but generally peaks during warmer months when the fish are more abundant.
