CUTTLEFISH

     Cuttlefish are considered one of the most intelligent invertebrates due to their large brain size, as supported by recent studies.

  Cuttlefish have eight arms and two tentacles, equipped with suction cups featuring serrated edges to help them firmly grasp their prey. Their W-shaped pupils provide enhanced vision underwater. Their bodies are oval-shaped, slightly rounded, and typically measure 15 to 25 cm in length. Notably, cuttlefish have thick, white flesh, making them a popular choice in culinary dishes.

   In Vietnam, Cuttlefish enter their breeding season from February to May (lunar calendar). This period marks a peak in their population, making it a crucial time for fishing and harvesting.
